How to start your first ride

Already have the Anytime app? Perfect – now it’s time to hit the road!
Here’s how your first ride works, step by step.

1. Reserve a car in the app

Open Anytime and choose the nearest car.
Select your tariff during the reservation – for your first short ride, we recommend the per-minute tariff.
You have 20 minutes for free to reach the car. If you need more time, the reservation continues at 1.99 CZK/min – the car stays yours.

2. Check the car before driving

After unlocking the car, you have 3 free minutes to check its condition.
Walk around and take photos of any damage.
Make sure the documents and fuel card are in the glove compartment.
Then tap “Start rental” in the app – and you’re good to go!

3. Start driving

Start the car with the Start/Stop button (to the right of the steering wheel).
Make sure the gear is in “P” and the brake pedal is pressed.
Use “D” to drive forward or “R” to reverse.
Some cars are hybrid – you might not hear the engine, but you’re ready to go.

4. During your trip

You can drive anywhere in the Czech Republic.
The app shows a map of the allowed driving zone.
Please follow traffic rules – Anytime cars are for private use only.
Racing, driving lessons or towing trailers are not allowed.

5. Ending your rental

Park in the home zone (shown in the app). Parking is free in blue and purple zones.
Shift to “P”, pull the handbrake, turn off the engine and get out.
Tap “End rental” in the app and make sure the car is locked (lights flash and mirrors fold).
Take photos of the car as prompted – it protects you from damage caused after your rental ends.
